Title: Welcome Back to School: A Look Inside Your Child’s First Week at the Library

Welcome to the new school year! It has been a wonderful first week in the library as students reconnected with favorite stories, explored our updated collection, and settled into great reading routines.

What We Accomplished This Week

  • Library Orientations: Students toured the space, learned how to independently navigate our online catalog, and discovered our newly organized genre shelves.
  • First Book Checkouts: Every student had the opportunity to select their first reading material of the term, from engaging graphic novels to rich non-fiction titles.
  • Digital Literacy Foundations: Classes reviewed basic digital citizenship and learned how to log into our school eBook and audiobook platforms.
